Coming soon

The app is coming.

Two minutes a day to come back to the present moment, before you open anything else.

Coming to iOS.

A pause before the reflex

Beinstant is designed for the moment when you open your phone without really deciding to. Before attention-hungry apps, it offers a short presence pause. You can breathe, notice what you are looking for and continue when access is intentional. The goal is not to block useful phone use or create guilt, but to make enough space for a conscious choice. Over time, the interruption becomes a simple cue that helps reduce reflex scrolling without relying on willpower alone.

  • What the beta is forThe beta is for people who want a gentler interruption before reflex scrolling, not a system that takes control of the phone. You will be able to test the pause in real situations, tell us which moments are hardest and help us improve the cue. The first version stays deliberately small: notice the impulse, choose whether to continue and learn from the moments when the pause helped. Join the list if you want an invitation when the iOS test opens.
  • What happens during a pauseA typical pause is short enough for a real day. First, notice the urge and name what you were about to open. Next, take one breath and check whether that action matches what you need right now. Then choose deliberately: continue, close the phone or switch to a small replacement action. The aim is not perfect behavior. It is to create a repeatable moment of awareness that makes the next choice a little less automatic.
  • Support, not a blockerKeep access to your apps. Beinstant helps you pause before deciding to continue.
