Mindful walking
Every step you take can be a meditation. You don't need a cushion, a quiet room or an app.
Mindful walking is one of the most accessible practices there is. It turns an ordinary commute into a full session of presence.
How to practice: Walk at your usual pace. Bring your attention to the sensation of your feet touching the ground. Feel the heel, the sole, the toes. Notice the movement of your legs, the swing of your arms, the air on your skin.
When the mind wanders, notice it and come back to the feet.
Thich Nhat Hanh writes: "The Earth is so beautiful. Each step you take, you touch the Earth. With each step, a flower blooms."
You're not going anywhere more precious than where you are.
